AR1
Born from the renewed collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato, the DB AR1 embodies a return to pure driving emotion. Unveiled in 2003 and derived from the DB7 Vantage Volante, it was radically reinterpreted into a bold, roofless roadster where design and sensation take precedence over compromise.
Its flowing lines and signature double-bubble rear reflect Zagato’s unmistakable touch, while the naturally aspirated V12 and manual gearbox deliver a truly analogue experience. Built in just 99 examples, each car was destined for a select group of collectors, primarily in the United States.
This particular example, number 84 of 99, stands as a rare expression of British craftsmanship blended with Italian artistry a car not merely driven, but experienced.
