According to the Ferrari 330 GT Registry, this stunning Series II was delivered new via the Ferrari agent SAVAF of Geneva, Switzerland. Further entries indicate a long spell in California, where it changed hands a few times between 1982 and 1996. In 1996 the car was sold via Garry Roberts & Co to its current Italian owner, a lifelong Ferrari enthusiast. It is also recorded in the Registry that during its time in California the car was painted red with a tan interior, a change from its original 'Argento' (silver) with beige trim.
Upon its return to Italy, the Ferrari was entrusted to the well-respected restorer, Quality Cars of Vigonza near Padova, for restoration, which included reinstating the original color scheme of silver with beige leather interior. The car's condition after almost 20 years testifies to the quality of the work, while only recently it has been subjected to a check-up, which included flushing the fuel tank and fuel system. Most importantly, this car retains its original matching-numbers engine.
Accompanying documentation consists of Italian registration papers, old importation documents, and a selection of photographs of the restoration.
Ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
