This vehicle has always been garage kept with a cover on it. The engine has a Stage II ECU upgrade that is from Lotus, not aftermarket. The price of the upgrade at the time was 4.000 EUR and gives this Esprit extra performance it deserves. This car looks and drives great. The low center of gravity of an Esprit together with the 350 HP engine makes this car one of the best drives you can find.
The car has been restored by the third owner, and driven 1300 KM since. Body was painted in iconic British racing green with yellow striping. Interior is 100% original and in perfect condition. Overall the car is spectacular, and looks new.

The Lotus Esprit is a sports car that was built by Lotus Cars between 1976 to 2004. It was among the first of designer Giugiaro's polygonal "folded paper" designs. In 1996 Lotus launched the Esprit V8. The car came equipped with Lotus own engine Type 918 V8. This engine is an all-aluminium 90° DOHC 4 valves per cylinder with a flat-plane crankshaft and two Garrett AiResearch T25/60 Turbochargers but no Chargecooler. The transaxle used was the same unit as before but upgraded by Lotus racing driver Derek Bell with a much thicker single piece input shaft. The engine developed a great 350 hp. The acceleration from 0–100 km/h was achieved in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 282 km/h.
